The purposes for which this corporation is organized are: The promotion of the common good and welfare of the people of the Walkertown community by working to improve the schools, support the churches, advance the general health, promote social and recreational facilities, and in general bring about civic betterment and social improvement.

Walkertown Fire Department serves the citizens of the Town of Walkertown and the Northeast Fire District in Northeastern Forsyth County in the Northern Piedmont section of Northwest North Carolina. We provide fire protection, rescue, and emergency medical assist services to a community of approximately 6,000 citizens. Our goal is a simple one, “to serve and protect the citizens of the community.
